4 positions available: 2 Positions based in Queenstown and 2 Positions can be based in either Christchurch, Dunedin or Invercargill

Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand's largest school with a roll of up to 24,000 ākonga (students) at any point of time. We provide personalised and authentic learning programmes through distance education from early childhood to NCEA Level 3, including to young adult and adult learners.
Our vision is to enable our ākonga to achieve their educational and personal goals, empowering them to become engaged and contributing members of their communities.
Our ākonga are at the centre of all we do. Our learning programmes are flexible, enabling us to respond to diverse ākonga needs Ki te tī, ki te tā, ki te katoa – Anytime, anywhere, anyone.
Teaching at Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu
Kaiako at Te Kura engage with our ākonga online and face-to-face at huinga ako (advisories) and events, and also work onsite with colleagues in our regional offices. Te Kura aims to provide flexible working arrangements, so Kaiako are able to request to work from home for up to two days per week.

We are looking for a creative, innovative Kaiako (teacher) who's an expert in Years 1 - 10. We have two positions available that can be based either in Christchurch, Dunedin or Invercargill and two positions available to be based in Queenstown.
It's an exciting time at Te Kura as we continue to innovate and transform the way we provide distance learning. In our online environment, we work with the latest technologies and are constantly growing in this space.
