The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to join a very collegial team of legal advisors and nurses, where you will be doing interesting and varied work. As well as continuing to use your legal advice skills, you will also travel around the motu gaining extensive experience investigating complaints related to professional misconduct.
You will be supported to grow your capabilities with generous professional development opportunities, including working alongside experienced KCs on prosecutions, who will encourage you to lead out some of these cases as you become more confident in doing so.
The Nursing Council regulates nurses in New Zealand and is governed by the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003. Their work is varied and is focused on ensuring that New Zealand nurses are competent and fit to practise.
