About the Role 

Working across the wider Finance and Performance teams, you will provide support and training to Managers on financial policies and procedures.  This includes budgeting, forecasting, reporting and high level analysis. 

A key focus of the role will be to identify and drive opportunities for improvement, to ensure we maximise the capability of our new FMIS system. 

Skills and Experience 

Our ideal candidate will offer: 

  • strong relationship management skills, quickly building credibility and trust
  • excellent report writing skills with the ability to clearly translate financial data
  • demonstrated experience using databases
  • strong analytical skills and the ability to manipulate quantitative data
  • understanding of key principles of financial management and accounting
  • strong influencing skills to achieve results
  • CA qualification or working towards is desirable
  • curiosity and openness to develop Te Ao Māori.

Salary range: $75,829 to $98,131 pa.  Appointment within these ranges will be based on skills and experience.
