We are looking for a Manager of our Government Services and Coordination Team in the Government Services Group.

There is a lot of exciting work happening within the Government Services Group to support the Minister of Health and Associate Ministers of Health. The Government Services and Coordination Team works closely with Ministers and the Ministry’s Executive Leadership Team to provide quality advice in a timely manner.

 

The role of Manager Government Services and Coordination is an exciting role that:

  • Oversees the timely production of draft replies to written and oral parliamentary questions on behalf of the whole Ministry ensuring that strong relationships exist with Directorates to facilitate this process
  • Manages high quality and well coordinated processes to support the Minister/s and Ministry to front annual select committee hearings
  • Coordinates cross-Ministry work to support engagement with Ministerial offices and support the Ministry to identify and manage risk
  • Manages the coordination of the Ministry’s written responses to Select Committee petitions as well as the appearance of Ministry staff adhering to be successful, we are looking for an experienced people leader who can build relationships, has excellent nous and judgement, is detail focussed and experienced in the Machinery of Government
