About the role:

We are currently looking for a Manager Insights to lead within our new Intelligence, Data and Insights branch and support the National Manager Targeting, Analytics and Insights. The Manager Insights will lead a team accountable for the collection and analysis of insights and provision of advice to inform sound strategic and operational decision making at all levels across the Immigration system.

These insights are derived from customers, staff and stakeholders and informed, supplemented and validated by system data.  This position brings deep subject matter expertise and a strong ability to derive business insights which will contribute to the overall improvement of the Immigration system.  The Manager Insights works collaboratively across INZ supporting all areas of the business in alignment with the overall INZ strategy.

 The Manager Insights is entering the business at an exciting time of change and growth, and will bring with them:

  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Experience driving cross organisational change via a continuous learning approach.
  • An in-depth understanding of a variety of techniques to elicit and validate insights.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining an environment focused on continuous improvement.
  • Proven leadership skills including demonstrated ability to engage and motivate staff.
