What you will do
The Manager – Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Centre of Expertise (CoE) will deliver the ILS strategies, frameworks, professional leadership, assurance and risk management necessary for ensuring the required through-life funding and support of NZDF Capability.
You’ll provide strategic assessments of the ILS requirements for NZDF’s future and current Capability, maintaining effective stakeholder and governance relationships to ensure understanding of the criticality of ILS for enabling and sustaining Capability.
You will be the professional lead for NZDF ILS, and will manage the NZDF ILS framework, ILS approaches, skills and the ILS panel of third party providers, as well as being the direct manager of the Centre of Expertise (CoE). You’ll liaise very closely with the Capability Branch to allocate the pool of ILS practitioners to deliver and assure Capability definition, acquisition and through life support.

Who we are
The Defence Logistics Command (DLC) is a consolidated organisation that provides logistics excellence to sustain NZDF maritime, land and air operations. DLC provides consolidated logistics support to equip and sustain the three Services to enable them to meet operational outputs now and into the future.
The DLC Directorate of Supply Chain Management (DSCM) is responsible for the delivery of strategic logistics support to the HQNZDF and to the three environments, Land, Air and Maritime, at all NZDF locations. Within this, the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Centre of Expertise is responsible for ILS consideration, policy, processes, delivery advice, training and assurance provisions for all capability projects and In-Service capabilities.
