In this role, you'll work closely with our community to support the monitoring and recovery of Māori land and water rates arrears. To do this you'll need a highly-developed awareness of Tikanga Māori and Te Reo Māori and a willingness to learn and improve. Relationship building is a big part of the job so you'll need to communicate well and build partnerships quickly. There is also data to review, reports to generate and letters to write, an ability to learn new systems and processes is key.

You'll be joining a team that envisions being better together, so you'll be a team player that upholds the values that a bunch of staff developed together (see below). You'll have experience in administration, working with a high degree of accuracy. You'll also have a strong understanding of Tikanga Māori, be able to build rapport quickly, adapt to new systems and processes and enjoy engaging with a wide range of people across our community.
