Full Time Application Closes 10 May 2024 Waikato - Taupo Stock Clerks- Stockroom, Warehouse, or Storage Yard Join our Nightshift Team the Nightshift Supervisor at Bidfood Taupo Are you looking for an opportunity in foodservice, warehousing and logistics?
Bidfood Taupo are on the lookout for a dedicated and motivated individual to join and lead our dynamic New Nightshift team.
To be an effective Nightshift Supervisor you will be required to: Lead from the front, you will balance your leadership responsibilities while also contributing to your teams' output by picking, loading trucks and running processes.   Review the Nightshift Roster and take instruction at commencement of the shift and ensure any important issues are clearly communicated and understood by the wider team Troubleshooting any issues in conjunction with the Operations, Dispatch and Sales Team and making adjustments (including in-process) as directed. Train co-workers in all warehouse duties and areas Follow all Health and Safety rules and procedures and wearing the correct PPE and ensuring those around you are doing the same. Provide an overview of shift performance. Does this sound like you? Ability to complete manual, physical labour including lifting up to 25kg Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in cold temperatures, i.e. Freezer temperature -22 degrees Celsius (PPE provided) Nightshift availability and flexibility Able to work well individually or in a team Working Hours: Our nightshift team operates Sunday to Friday (6 nights). Shift Hours: EST 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM Workdays: Sunday through Friday (on a 4-day work roster) Please note that hours may vary to suit business needs and can be disccussed further during interview . The Nightshift team play a key role in ensuring all customers orders are picked, packed and loaded onto our trucks for delivery the next day. Please also consider your availability to commence employment with us - this position starts in June 2024 and training will be conducted at Bidfood Rotorua. it will require travel between Taupo and Rotorua.
