Lifeguard (Network Support Team Member) | North Shore and West Auckland
We are looking for 6 highly motivated and capable candidates to join our Network Support Team.
This is an exciting hybrid opportunity where you will get to develop leadership skills working as a lifeguard and as a customer service representative.
As a Lifeguard (Network Support), you will:
• Provide cover for planned leave and training for our regular employees
• Be rostered on a variable schedule across sites in the Lifeguarding and Customer Support functions
These permanent part-time opportunities vary from 16 hours, 24 hours, and 30 hours a week, working on a variable roster across our North Shore, Tepid Bath, and West Wave pools and leisure centres. Working on a variable roster (fortnightly changes) from 5am to 10pm. You will be required to work at least one weekend day.
Currently looking one (permanent 24-hour) that priroitizing at West Wave; and the rest will prioritizing centres across North Shore (up to Albany) and Tepid Bath

We are looking for people of age that are strong swimmers, dedicated to helping others. To become a lifeguard with Auckland Council as the first step you will need to be able to pass this test:
To be a lifeguard, you will need a Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate and a First Aid certificate.
These training will be provided at no cost for suitable candidates.
You will need to be availble for the lifeguard training from 3 July to 14 July (Weekdays 8:30am - 4pm).
We are looking for someone that has:
A Full driver’s license and own vehicle are required as you will be working on a variable roster (fortnightly changes) from 5am to 10pm.

Pay rate: Starting $25.45 per hour
