This is a part time role with available options to work between 3 or 4 days a week.The Payroll Officer is a key role within the People and Culture team, responsible for the smooth functioning of an assigned portfolio within ProCare group's payroll functions working alongside the Payroll Specialist. This position ensures each business entity, regardless of size, construct or workforce make-up, receives seamless payroll services that ensure all staff are swiftly onboarded, paid accurately and off-boarded as required.This role is required to hold a continuous process improvement mindset, looking for leaner and more efficient ways of working, including associated reporting and functions.Taking a strong, customer-centric approach, the Payroll Officer, alongside the Payroll Specialist will promote a highly visible function, whereby employees and managers from across the group can seek and receive best-practice and timely advice and guidance as and when they need it.Other key skills/attributes required:Minimum 3 years in dedicated payroll and/or human resources support roles.Relevant Diploma or Degree in finance qualification, payroll or related discipline.Experience working with iPayroll system or equivalent is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.Specialised knowledge across the full range of payroll legislation and practices, including a sound understanding of NZ employment law and its application.Comfortable at forming effective relationships at all levels, both internally and externallyNaturally a supportive member of the team, actively seeking out support opportunities and willingness to muck in.Strong organisational skills with the ability to work flexibly across a range of wide HR issues.A passion for improving equitable health outcomes for the population of Tāmaki Makaurau and Aotearoa, New Zealand.Strong understanding and appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to shaping our efforts.What we can offer youGreat benefits on offer including health insurance, gym and retail discounts.Fully flexible hours as we work in a hybrid model of remote and office-based working.A fun, supportive and collaborative team and company culture.Fantastic modern offices located in Parnell.How to ApplyIf you think this sounds like you, please apply to submit your CV and application using the 'Apply Now' button.All applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ, no agency enquiries, please.
