About the Opportunity

In the role of People and Engagement Manager you will work closely with a dynamic, young Chief Executive and an experienced, influential Board who understand the importance of investing in our people and effective communications in order to be successful.


You will also be working in and helping lead an organisation that has recently doubled in size and continues to grow.


Highly capable and engaged people, along with strong stakeholder relationships are our key enablers and they are central to our new Strategic Direction which is currently in development.


The People and Engagement Manager will make a strong contribution to that Strategic Direction, as well as managing and leading the people and engagement team in day-to-day delivery. The role also chairs the Health Safety and Wellbeing Committee.


As part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will be at the beating heart of the company, working across the business to drive performance and foster a customer service-oriented culture.


About You

As a strategic leader, you will develop and oversee the execution of company-wide people and communications strategies and lead the development of an activity plan to support the achievement of both strategies in alignment with Organisational Strategic Direction.  


Tertiary qualified in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, you have a proven track record in HR and/or Communications discipline, preferably both. Organisational development and workforce planning experience is preferred.


In addition to the essential criteria, you will also demonstrate an ability to make insightful decisions and are an effective negotiator. A strong communicator you can demonstrate excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management  skills.
