About the role | Mō te tūnga
The People Coordinator is part of the People and Community team whose work is to advise and support leaders on a wide range of people matters so they can be successful, deliver an exceptional people experience, and build a thriving community.
Working across the team, primarily in Recruitment with some cross over into HR, you will work with senior team members to provide operational and administrative support to leaders, while expanding your knowledge and growth within an encouraging and dynamic team.
You will be particularly focused on supporting the recruitment efforts of the organisation, delivering a positive candidate experience, and providing end to end recruitment service to our hiring managers, through to onboarding and offboarding.
Other activities will include:
Supporting the operational delivery of initiatives across the People & Community team, including performance and remuneration, capability development, talent and succession, change management, employment relations, health and safety, wellbeing, and organisation development
Supporting ways of working that embrace and promote te ao Māori
Maintaining employment documentation and records, and contributing to regular people reporting
Assisting in the development and maintenance of our people policies, guidelines and information.

Some end to end recruitment experience or knowledge
Customer service focus with the ability to build trusted and collaborative relationships
Sound technology and information management skills
The ability to juggle and prioritise competing deadlines
Ability to work through issues in a logical and systematic way, with an eye for process improvement
Approachable, reliable and have a good dose of crazy

We have a stepped remuneration framework where salary movement happens though defined step increases within a role salary band. Appointment to a step within the salary range will depend on the experience and skills the person brings to the role which will be better known following a recruitment process including an interview. Salary range $62,000 – $71,000.
