We currently have a great role working with people data as a People and Culture Analyst.  The primary purpose of the People and Culture Analyst will be to build, create and maintain a workforce analytics reporting structure that will provide meaningful workforce data that informs management activities and decision making.

As part of the People and Culture branch, this position is pivotal in assisting our organisation in managing its most important asset – its employees.

The successful candidate will use their understanding of data sets, quantitative analysis and experience with HR systems and reporting applications to:

  • Prepare, develop and analyse daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and presentations on Operational Metrics, Key Performance Indicators and other key statistical data
  • Analyse data and develop written reports and summaries
  • Use visual representations of data through graphs, charts and models
  • Consult with the P&C team to understand the data needs and how it will be used in order to produce the highest quality outcomes.
  • Implement best practice reporting methodologies to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Consult with management regarding trends and changes needed in HRIS reporting to promote success
  • Provide recommendations on analysis
  • Develop new insights and analysis to improve the workplace and develop workforce capability

About Success To be successful in this role you will need to have an analytical mind-set and a basic knowledge of workforce management practices and theory. In addition, you will need the ability to write reports and present to audiences. You will also have to translate Workforce data into insights as well as be comfortable with analytics consulting. At least 2+ years of experience in an analytics role will be needed along with relevant Tertiary qualifications.
