About this role
We’re looking for a People Policy writer to take on a key project involving reviewing, updating and reorganising all our people policies and guidelines. This is a fixed term role until June 30 2019, where you’ll be helping to create clear, consistent guidance for staff and managers to ensure everyone understands what is expected of them, and how they can contribute to a professional, productive and supportive working environment.
This role also involves working on other people and employment related content as required, to ensure consistent guidance and support for our staff and managers.
You’ll be an excellent writer and all-round communicator, who relishes the challenge of turning complexity and jargon into clear, concise, engaging advice. You’ll be highly organised and self- motivated, getting up to speed quickly, and working methodically to get our policy library in order.
You’ll understand the importance of getting this stuff right, and take pride in consistently delivering work to a high standard, with minimal supervision. While you’ll remain attentive to the finer detail, you’ll also need to keep track of how your work links to that of the wider team and other parts of the organisation.
You’ll exercise good judgement about when to take the lead and when to check in with others – as you’ll not only be working with other subject matter experts within the team, but also liaising with legal and health, safety security and privacy experts to ensure our advice is always robust and accurate.
An HR, policy or communications background would be helpful, although not essential.
In return, you’ll have the opportunity to make your mark, working with a friendly, supportive knowledgeable team in an influential area where you can further develop and broaden your skills and experience.
Are you ready to make a difference?
