About the Role
Opportunities like this do not come along often. We want you to bring your expertise and proactive safety leadership to this newly created role. Reporting to the Senior H&S Advisor, your key focus will be to manage best practice procedures and systems for our Permit to Work System. A Permit to Work is an authorisation to perform a specified high-risk task at Port Nelson. You will also have direct involvement in our Port User Management framework by coordinating day-to-day activities and supporting our Safe System of Work.
With a keen focus on health and safety, you’ll provide technical and expert knowledge on permit-related issues to port users/contractors and operational teams, to deliver a highly professional and efficient process.
