ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of Pick Manager helps manage a high performing pick team to deliver an efficient, safe and accurate pick that meets our customer's needs. We're looking for a real team player, someone who role-models and coaches the team on safe and appropriate behaviours. You are comfortable in having the right conversation with team members to ensure performance expectations are being met to ensure the team is meeting its operational commitments. The development and growth of our people is a key priority for you and you will work with team members to ensure they are supported to deliver the best outcomes for themselves and the business. You will be in charge of coordinating your team, tasks, recourses and equipment to deliver accurate and efficient performance. The safety of our team is our number one priority, as such you will role-model and coach your team on safe behaviours as well as responding to, reporting and investigating any hazards, near-misses or incidents. The Pick Shift teams typical working hours are 6am to 2pm.
Reporting into our Day Operations Manager you will support your peers and team to deliver our strategic goals.
This role is a fixed term contract for 12 months covering for a team member on parental leave.
