About the Role:
Port Protection Officers are part of the Marine and Infrastructure Team reporting directly through to our Security Manager, based in Port Chalmers. We are looking for someone to join our Port Protection team on a permanent, full-time basis.
As a Port Protection Officer, you are the first point of contact for all visitors to our Port, both land and waterside. They are responsible for providing various security, marine, customer services and safety duties associated with the day to day running of our Gatehouse.
Some of the key tasks of the role include, but are not limited to:
Hours of work for the role is a 4 days/4 off/4 nights/4 off rolling shift pattern and operate across two 12-hour shifts: 6:30am to 6:30pm, and 6:30pm to 6:30am (an average of 42 hours per week).
