We have an exciting role as Project Manager for Critical Care within Te Toka Tumai and across the Northern Region Districts. There is both organisational and regional programmes requiring a high degree of stakeholder collaboration and engagement.
Motivation to work strategically with services and stakeholders to deliver projects that improve service towards patients, whānau and staff; impacting the equity, efficiency and standard of clinical care across the organisation and Northern Region Critical Care is key to the role.
This is an opportunity for someone who is committed to delivering projects and improvement initiatives that uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and Ōritetanga (equity). This includes the mitigation of existing bias and the promotion of Māori health equity.
As Project Manager you will:
· Work in collaboration with the clinicians, service managers, service users and other stakeholders
· Manage timeliness, issues and resources for the delivery of projects that align with the principles of shared Model of Care, equitable distribution of resource and increasing collaboration between services
· Support the strategic planning processes to ensure project plans are informed by data, prioritised and aligned to the organisation and Northern Region Critical Care goals
Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
You will have previous experience in managing complex projects in a hospital, health sector or other critical environment setting. Extensive background in all aspects of project work, planning, design, change and risk management, reporting and evaluation are essential.
We are also looking for:
· Relevant tertiary qualification and post graduate qualification in project management
· Strong background in building relationships and leading high performing teams to meet service objectives and deliver best quality patient care
· Understanding of complex organisations is desired
