Our Strategy and Planning team have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the team.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Manager Strategy and Planning, this critical role has been developed to work as part of a team to plan and integrate the Ministry of Health’s Sustainability project. This project will be working on the primary and community care model across the various Southern DHB’s health system.
This role will initially involve planning and project managing the Southern DHB approach to an integrated primary and community care model, and its roll out in identified areas such as: Frail Elderly and Care Coordination, Integrated services for high needs whanau in South Dunedin, Primary Maternity, Acute and Urgent care, and Community diagnostics. As Project Manager, you will play a lead role in planning, executing, monitoring and controlling the project objectives.
This is a role where your exemplary aptitude for project management will be well utilised. You will be working with a wide variety of clinical and non-clinical persons to develop connected and responsive clinical partnerships from across the interlocking parts of the health system. You will be able to adapt and respond to enthusiastic stakeholders in an environment that is complex and challenging. In addition, your networking and facilitation skills will be necessary to deliver a coherent and feasible model of care.
You will have five or more years experience in project management, ideally in a health-related field.
You will need to be resilient, persistent and focused on the end goals as we want to make a significant difference, but you will be supported by extremely professional colleagues all dedicated to lifting the bar.
