Te Piriti Special Treatment Unit is a purpose built rehabilitation facility based in a low-security unit within Auckland Prison, Paremoremo. Based in beautifully maintained gardens and an active plant nursery, Te Piriti provides intensive group treatment within a ‘community of change’ environment, designed to increase the desistance from re-offending among child sex offenders.
