Mō tō mātou rōpū – About the Tobacco Alcohol and Drugs team
The Tobacco Alcohol and Drugs team provide both Health Protection and Health Promotion activities/initiatives in the wider Wellington Region. We are based in the Hutt Valley Hospital and provide services across the wider Wellington region including Kapiti, Wairarapa, Porirua, Wellington and Hutt Valley.
Our team thrive on building and maintaining collaborative partnerships. The Alcohol team work collaboratively with the NZ Police and City Councils. The Sale and Supply of the Alcohol Act 2012 provides the Alcohol Regulatory team members information to complete their Enforcement activities.

The successful applicant will be an effective communicator with a background and experience in Alcohol Licensing. Community engagement comes naturally because you love working collaboratively with people-eccentricity at the core of what you do.
You will have a proven ability to manage and co design projects and a passion for public health. A bachelor's degree and /or relevant Public Health experience.
