Our Emergency department at Whakatāne Hospital is currently seeking a Registered Nurse - Clinical Coach. This position educates, supports and coach staff to deliver safe, high-quality care, positively influence patient safety.
The Registered Nurse Clinical Coach role is responsible for promoting targeted and planned point of care clinical education and coaching for an identified individual nurse, nursing cohort or team. This role supports relevant Emergency Department education plans.
The Clinical coach will work in partnership with a variety of other roles including the Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator and preceptors and will work rostered shifts sharing a caseload with the nurse to maximise education and coaching opportunities.
There is 0.4FTE available - this role can be combined with Emergency Department Registered Nurse FTE. The role will be fixed term for 5 months
