Hutt Maternity has opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses to join our family focused team which strives to provide a quality and caring service to our community. Roles are rostered and rotating and are based in the Maternity ward providing care to postnatal people and babies.
Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team
We are a busy, friendly unit and on average we provide primary and secondary maternity care to around 1800 pregnant people and their whanau a year and we are committed to providing high quality care to our community. Our unit functions much like an extended family, with work-life balance being extremely important. A bespoke orientation package is developed for all new team members and PDRP opportunities are available and supported. If you share our commitment to innovative and personalised care, we’d love to talk with you.
Moū – About you
Ideally you should have experience working in a Maternity or neonatal setting and as we are a Baby Friendly Accredited unit, breastfeeding skills are an advantage. We value team work, a strong work ethic and sense of humour.
