TaupoWhat we are all about:Giltrap AgriZone (GAZ) has a long and well-respected history selling tractors and farm machinery across the greater Waikato and Central North Island Regions.As a Case IH and New Holland dealer in Waikato and Case IH in BOP, the business is growing!GAZ is an owner operated business, honouring the values that have seen it thrive in a moving market with an enviable brand reputation and passionate, dedicated employees.We currently have an opportunity for a Sales Consultant based out of our Taupō Branch. This is a prime opportunity for a career minded person looking to advance themselves in a fast-moving and competitive environment.What we are looking for:Experience and understanding in, or exposure to the Agricultural/Horticultural equipment industry, its seasonal demands and modern machinery operation is a must. As important is the desire to work hard and be part of a team that is focused on building great relationships and providing quality service. You will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the sales process, from prospecting new customers to retaining existing customers. You will play a key role in achieving sales revenue and market share targets by quoting, selling and installing new and used agricultural equipment.What you will have:Minimum 3 years experience in a sales role.A genuine passion for the Agricultural/Horticultural industry.Understanding (and experience) of tractors & machinery, their uses and requirements for farming and/or contracting.A proven sales focus and a history of reaching & exceeding targets.A high degree of honesty and personal integrity.The ability to operate with minimal supervision, including ‘cold calling’.The ability to manage and operate within a territory.Excellent language/organisational/communication skills.The ability to network well, build strong relationships and have a strong customer focus.The role of Sales Consultant comes with an attractive package including salary and commission.
