If you share our passion to make Aotearoa healthier for people and for the planet, then read on.The Opportunity - Are you a competent HR adviser looking for a great place to work?HealthyPractice is our MAS online business support service, currently customised for our health provider practices, and we have an exciting opportunity to join our Business Advisory team as a HealthyPractice Adviser, providing mostly HR and employment related advice to our health practices. You'll be joining our fast-paced team to help grow our MAS HealthyPractice Medical, Dental and Veterinary subscriber base and deliver an exceptional experience to our current HealthyPractice Medical, Dental and Veterinary subscriber practices.Your role will be to proactively promote our HealthyPractice service to practices and deliver advice and support to our HealthyPractice subscriber practices. Most of the advice provided will be in the human resources field. Your knowledge of employment related legislation together with HR processes, specifically in the staff performance and disciplinary areas, will assist practice owners and managers to follow a compliant process and help to protect their practices from claims. Other areas of advice will include general management, privacy, and workplace health and safety requirements. You will also be required to present at business education seminars and conferences on HR/Employment and business management related topics for MAS.Being an experienced, forward thinking, practical operator who is comfortable doing the thinking and rolling up their sleeves to do the mahi, your flexibility, collaborative style and strong relationship building skills will set you up for ongoing success at MAS.Ideally you will bring:Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience3+ years' experience in an HR advisory role or similarExcellent written, verbal and presentation communication skillsStrong understanding of best practice HR and current New Zealand Employment LawAble to build rapport with a range of stakeholders.Agility to work in an ever-changing environment focused on continuous improvement.Whats on offerAt MAS we are committed to providing exceptional experience for our Members, that starts with taking special care of our people.We're serious about flexibility.
