This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist wanting to develop their leadership capabilities. In this role you will carry a clinical caseload, providing comprehensive and evidence-based care to General Surgical and Liver/Renal transplant patients within the inpatient setting and outpatient Liver Transplant space. In addition to your clinical caseload, you will play an active role in quality improvement, provide day to day coordination and leadership within the surgical team and take on delegated responsibilities from your Practice Supervisor as and when required. You will also have the opportunity to learn and work across other specialities within the wider acute surgical area including Orthopaedics, Vascular and Neurosurgery. This role is based at Auckland City Hospital and we can offer a permanent, full-time position 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week). This role will also see you performing the following duties: Manage a clinical caseload while providing day-to-day coordination and support to a small team of core and rotational staff. Provide a comprehensive and evidence-based service to patients within the General Surgery and Liver/Renal services Play an active role in quality improvement and service development Work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary environment Participate in our weekend and on-call roster Regardless of your experience, you will receive a thorough orientation and be well-supported in your role.
