I currently have anopportunity for a senior procurementprofessional with strong government procurement process experience andcommercial knowledge to join a large public sector organization. You will beleading specialist and expert procurement advice and taking a commercial lensto New Zealand Procurement frameworks!

To be successful in this role,you will have:

  • Three years minimum procurement experience
  • Strong understanding of the machinery of government, and sound knowledge of contract law and strong negotiation skills
  • Working in a collaborative environment with key stakeholders and/or suppliers.
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills; demonstrated by credibility, personal or collaborative influence, managing expectations and targeted persuasion.
  • The ability to develop and deliver instruction and training to internal clients
  • Experience in coaching and upskilling other team members
