We are looking for a friendly Space Leader to help open and run our brand new space. With no two days the same, if you like a role with variety and interacting with lots of people, this could be the role for you. You will be responsible for onboarding new members, responding to sales leads, showing people through the space, physical set up of the space, manage the day-to-day operations of an office, host community events in our space and connect with the local community. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, self motivated and comfortable working autonomously to help open our space with the support of management. This role would suit someone who has experience working with customers such as a retail store manager looking for a change in career. This isn't your typical office job - it's a chance to get started in a company with training provided and the potential for growth. Duties/responsibilities General tasks Prepare the site ready for opening including purchasing & setting up the office with crockery, decorative items and furniture Manage the WOTSO space Problem solve workspace issues Show potential members around the space Respond to all sales enquiries and follow up as required Daily space set up and pack down Ensure presentation of the workspace is clean and tidy Interact with members and develop member relations Plan and host WOTSO community events held in our spaces (such as weekly drinks and monthly member breakfasts) Work closely with our Regional Manager regarding site operations Assist with the general upkeep of the space including maintenance and repairs Take pride in the space and be creatively involved in the layout/décor of the space Member retention Connect with local community & partner with local businesses through Friends of WOTSO Understand other coworking/serviced office competition in the area Admin tasks Create member communications Complete grocery, alcohol, catering, and stationary orders for the workspace Onboard new members Take payments and complete monthly billing checks Create space signage for events or other notices using Canva What we would like from you: Communicate effectively, both written and verbal Demonstrate previous customer service experience; this role may be ideal for someone who is working as a retail store manager or as a hospitality manager looking for a change Have a hands on approach to tasks and be comfortable being on your feet throughout the day Be comfortable working autonomously Work from our space in Takapuna and support the team until our new site is ready to open The perks of working at WOTSO: Work in a vibrant and unique workspace Amazing onboarding and training program Potential for growth as our WOTSO spaces grow in Australia & New Zealand Full time, regular business hours from Monday to Friday Annual company-wide end of year celebration in Australia Company device (MacBook) provided Access to our Friends of WOTSO and WOTSO Wellbeing Programs Work for an Australian owned company who is a Certified Great Place To Work 2 years running Ready to bring your energy to WOTSO FlexSpace?
