**About the role**
Stantec is one of the few engineering consultancies across Australia & New Zealand with in-house expertise in all disciplines required for Transportation and Water projects. We provide a comprehensive array of services encompassing innovative conceptual planning, investigations and feasibility studies, environmental planning, financial, economic and energy modelling, risk assessment, design, procurement, asset management, refurbishment and enhancement. In addition to providing traditional engineering, design and construction management services, we have experience with complex design-builds, alliancing, programme management, information technology, asset management and business consulting.
Due to a high level of current work and ongoing successful tenders for a variety of projects, we require a structural engineer with current design skills and the ability to work in a team setting on projects with multidisciplinary requirements.
The role in a snapshot may encompass the following:
•tDetailed designs and calculations across a variety of transport and water related infrastructure projects
•tBridge inspection and forward work planning skills
•tAbility to carry out structural assessments, inspections, risk assessment and asset management plans
•tWorking closely with project teams and project managers to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery
•tOpportunity to work nationally.
Structural Engineer – Auckland
You’ll be a BEng qualified engineer with between 3 and 6 years’ professional experience in the consulting industry. You’ll have experience with infrastructure projects, ideally with retaining walls, bridges, tanks, pump stations, or treatment plants.
