You will provide technical advice on project contract codes to ensure contract costs are accurate and up to date. In addition, you will ensure the cost code structure is established and maintained. Included in your wide remit will be the following responsibilities (not limited to):Implementing the HSE Management Plans by setting and maintaining high standards and ensuring direct reports understand and deliver to their HSE accountabilities.Compliance with all Company SH&E policies and procedures.Helping the Work Winning Team as required to ensure compliant bids are produced, mitigating financial and commercial risks for Ventia and our contractors.Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labour, and equipment.Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors.Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame.Assessing the risk levels associated with a project.Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done.Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs.About YouIdeally, with a tertiary level qualification relevant to Construction, Telco, or the Building Industry, you have demonstrable experience in a similar role within a large, multi-faceted, and complex business. You are on an ongoing quest for continuous improvement, and you take pride in surpassing stakeholder expectations! Your communication and interpersonal skills are second to none, and you thoroughly enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
