About the role
This 18-month fixed term position reports through to the Training & Development Manager and has been created to support us in standing up our new Training and Development function at Port. Working alongside two other Training & Development Specialists, this position will provide training and development services, advice and support to the team(s) you are allocated to support including:
- Maintaining, reviewing and updating Training Needs Analyses.
- Using the Learning Management System to collate data and produce reports for our frontline leaders.
- Working with Team Supervisors to develop training plans for their team, to map future skills gaps and build succession plans.

You’ll be the type of person who loves getting stuck in to solve problems in a practical way, and who is a master of juggling multiple priorities. But above all else you’ll have a positive attitude, resilience in stacks and plenty of initiative.
To be successful in this position you will have the following:
A good level of experience in high risk or logistics related industries, and/or experience with risk management tools/principles is desirable.
