Our client is a very well established and highly respected New Zealand success story which has recently been acquired by a global infrastructure private equity group. The company employs over 1,600 staff and has multiple locations throughout the country.We are looking for an experienced Treasury Manager to establish and lead the treasury function in order to optimize its financial resources, manage risk and support the company's overall financial health and ensure best practice. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the delivery of the financial and treasury strategy and objectives whilst ensuring a financial continual improvement focus and a drive towards operational and commercial excellence.Reporting to the CFO your key responsibilities will include:Reporting and monitoring including financial reporting, compliance and regulations, committee and board reporting, treasury audit and compliance as well as implementing treasury management systems and financial technology solutions to automate treasury processesCapital structure and funding, treasury policies and procedures, strategic financial planning, M & A supportCash management and working capital managementDebt Management, including managing debt structures and evaluating and executing debt issuances or refinancing opportunitiesManaging banking syndicate relationships including communication of strategy and financial plans and bank compliance reportingInvestor relations – being the key point of contact for shareholders and assist in the preparation of investor communications including earnings distributions, investor presentations and annual reportsInterest rate and FX risk management including hedging strategies and assist with balance sheet forecasting and investment management to achieve optimal returnsAbout you:Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments and products and hedging strategiesExperience in Treasury tactical risk management and short-term liquidity management across multiple currencies, facilities and bank accounts as well as working capital managementWealth of experience in treasury management preferably in a corporate or financial services environment ideally with a CA/CPA, CFA or Certified Treasury Professional qualification.Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders (banks, investors), senior management and be able to negotiate effectively on behalf of the companyExperienced in developing and implementing treasury policies, procedures and controlsProficiency in financial analysis including cash flow forecasting, financial modelling and risk assessmentA first class communicator who has the presence and confidence to report at board levelOur client is a dynamic, purpose lead organization and we are seeking a candidate who can shift perceptions and drive value through new thinking and a positive attitude.
