Ko tā mātou mahi – Our role

We are currently recruiting for a permanent full time Contract Assurance Assessor to join our Auckland team.

Reporting to the Team Leader Contract Assurance, this role will include a focus on providing assurance across our Healthy Homes programme, and you will be responsible for the efficient delivery of quality assurance assessments, the analysis and accurate reporting of assessment findings and provision of technical advice, support and recommendations to Kāinga Ora staff and contractors. You will work closely and collaboratively with internal business groups and our maintenance partners to problem solve issues and contribute to providing solutions that will achieve positive outcomes for Kāinga Ora.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu – What you will bring:

  • Ideally previous experience in construction, building, maintenance or related trades would be an advantage
  • Experience in auditing and or sound understanding of audit methodologies
  • Ability to research, interpret and apply sound verbal and written reasoning in the assessment of varying and complex information
  • A customer-centric approach, coupled with the ability to problem solve
  • The ability to understand and apply processes, along with computer literacy with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships through consultation and partnership
