We are currently seeking a person to provide both Courtroom and administrative support to our Court Registry Office.

About the role:

The Court Registry Support Officer (CRSO) plays an important support role in the operation of a District Court. The CRSO role is to provide support to Registry Officers and to deliver services across the following range of registry administration functions:

  • Provision of general administrative support to Registry Officers
  • Professional and efficient frontline telephone and customer service
  • Court Attending
  • Filing
  • Incoming and outgoing mail
  • Provision of registry office supplies
  • Maintenance of equipment
  • Production of documents

The position of CRSO may operate solely within one area of principal accountability or within a combination of accountabilities.

The position holder may be required to travel and work at other court locations within the court cluster.

Skills and experience required:

  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with a varied group of stakeholders
  • Confidence to manage and maintain orderly conduct in the Courtroom environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to provide clear, concise and timely information • Proficient user of office technology
  • • Ability to organise and prioritise duties and manage conflicting demands

Salary range:  $42,744 – $46,512
