We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an Economic Development Lead to join us and help shape the future of the Kaipara District. You will play a pivotal role in promoting and managing significant investment opportunities, driving successful economic outcomes for the area and advancing our vision of ensuring affordable living within our community. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and implementation of the Council's economic development strategy, encompassing strategic marketing initiatives and aligning it with the Council's objectives. Effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders will be crucial in driving the key aspects of this role to promote sustainable economic growth and prosperity for the Kaipara District.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity. You can choose to work from either our Mangawhai or Dargaville office. As part of this role, regular travel throughout the Kaipara region will be required. Flexible work arrangements are also available, allowing the successful candidate to work remotely part of the time.
