This is an exciting time to join the Ministry following the realignment of core corporate functions, with a new General Manager.
About the role
This is a key support role contributing directly to the effectiveness of the General Manager of Health, Safety and Security, responsible for providing high-level, secretarial and logistical services and requires excellent solution-focused administration and organisational skills. The role includes diary management, coordinating and booking meetings, preparing responses to correspondence, arranging travel, as well as assisting with administrative tasks with a confidential and sensitive nature.
You are a highly motivated professional with proven experience working in an Executive Support role. With your excellent time management and organisational skills, you prioritise and manage your workload and can respond to changing needs and priorities. You are able to keep one step ahead, anticipate and manage or escalate issues early. As a result, your General Manager will always be well briefed, prepared and organised.
A key success factor will be your ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and communicate on various levels with a wide range of people within and outside the Ministry.

Salary range: $48,853 – $68,968
