We are always on the lookout for great instructors at all our SwimWell facilities -Karori, Keith Spry (Johnsonville), Tawa, and WRAC (Kilbirnie). SwimWell runs year-round swimming education programmes for all ages, from infants up.
You do not need to be an experienced swim instructor as we provide full training for all our instructors. You do need to have excellent communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, enjoy the water and love working with kids. If you are passionate about making a difference to lowering New Zealand's drowning rate and get a buzz out of teaching our tamariki an essential life skill, then join our team.
We can offer you permanent part-time hours during School Terms (weekdays and weekend hours available), a fun and friendly atmosphere, teaching skills you can take anywhere in the world, possible job advancement through to a leadership position and the good feeling that comes with helping others.
We have regular recruitment rounds throughout the year - so while we may not have a role that's starting straight away, we can let you know when the next induction is. We hold inductions regularly throughout the year for part-time aquatic education instructors to join the team at one of our pools across Wellington.
