Our beloved Senior Administrator is going away on maternity leave! She will be leaving behind some very big shoes to fill. We are seeking a strong administrator extraordinaire who is willing to step up to the challenge. This is a very people orientated position, therefore strong interpersonal and good communication skills are pivotal. There is a heavy emphasis on coordinating the recruitment and training of our SwimWell employees, therefore having worked in these areas would be of an advantage.
SwimWell is a Wellington City Council's swim school. We offer year-round swimming lessons for children across 4 of our pools in the Wellington region. The Senior Aquatic Education Administrator is what holds it all together. This position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of our swim programmes across our pools by ensuring we have the correct people with the correct training to achieve this.
Every day will be different, and you will need to be mobile and adaptable. Demonstrating your leadership qualities, you will be ready to step into a team leader position when necessary. Having knowledge of a learn to swim environment would be useful, but not essential.
We can offer you a supportive and fun team environment, a full handover with training and ongoing support. This is a fixed term contract to 1st July 2024. You will have access to Wellington City Council employee benefits and opportunities.
