We're like the superhero support squad for Data and Digital. From keeping everyone in the loop through top-notch communication (we're buddies with the Communication and Engagement team) to making sure the right people are in the right places (our friends in People and Culture are our partners here), we've got it all covered.
We've got a handle on best practices, training, and making sure everyone's got the right skills. Plus, we're the guardians of risk management and privacy – keeping things safe and sound in the world of Data and Digital is our specialty.
Mōu | About you
As our Group Manager D&D Capability and Change, you will be the driving force behind ensuring that Data & Digital not only achieves its operational and strategic goals but thrives in doing so. With your help, we'll navigate the digital transformation journey successfully and create a positive and empowered workplace.
Your key responsibilities will involve creating a standardised approach to change management, ensuring our Data & Digital services are aligned nationally, and establishing a capabilities framework. We're seeking someone with a rich background in workforce capability and change management, coupled with a modern understanding of the digital landscape. In this transformative environment, you will introduce assessments to gauge capability maturity, drive proactive approaches to skills development, and nurture a culture of continual learning. Crafting strategies to elevate our organisational prowess will be second nature to you, including pinpointing skill gaps, designing impactful training, and fostering knowledge sharing across teams.
As a leader, you'll be instrumental in boosting Data & Digital's performance, agility, and adaptability. Your guidance will help us not only meet but surpass our outcomes and commitments. You'll lead a team dedicated to enhancing our capabilities, collaborating across functions to identify improvement opportunities and develop actionable strategies. Through your coaching and support, team members will flourish in their roles, adapting to new ways of working and embracing change. Your insights into leadership about critical gaps and workforce planning will be invaluable, and you'll continuously refine our capabilities through trial, feedback, and evolution.
Change management will also be in your purview, as you lead initiatives that ensure seamless transitions to new processes, systems, and structures. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage stakeholders will drive the success of these changes. You'll champion innovation, staying up-to-date with industry trends to recommend fresh approaches that lead to continuous improvement. Your collaboration with the People & Communications team will foster strong partnerships and keep everyone aligned during change initiatives.
