About the role

As an Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will be responsible for helping maintain operation of Police Enterprise Microsoft systems and services.

You will help clean things up if we are experiencing issues and more importantly, help us maintain processes and rules in place to ensure that our Enterprise Microsoft systems function appropriately.

You will also beresponsible for the provisioning, deployment, configuration, and administration of many different pieces of Microsoft operating systems, the services that are hosted upon them.

Key aspects of the role will be to:

  • Support the SCCM environment infrastructure consisting of Patch Management, Server Builds, Daily health checks, and documentation is all updated.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies in the Microsoft and VMWare environment.
  • Manage and identify risks to Enterprise infrastructure and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with related ICT teams and stakeholders within Police.
  • Support the Operations Manager on continuous improvement initiatives across Technology Operations and ICT.
  • Engage with other technology teams to provide support for Technology Operations.

  • Experience in Service Delivery in a large organisation;
  • Industry certification in a relevant field; SCCM Microsoft Certified
  • Be able to work in a high functioning engineering team; &
  • Successful applicant must be able to pass our Police vetting process and Drug and Alcohol testing.
