The Procurement Adviser – Operational Sourcing is responsible for the creation of purchase orders from special requests for the Department. They locate and identify appropriate sources of supply for these special requests. They also have responsibility for maintaining product catalogues and help drive value for money through sourcing efficiency. They monitor, analyse and report on sourcing trends within the business.
In this role you will work in a team that is close knit, recognises each other’s strengths and achieves great results together. They manage procurement for a range of products and services required to ensure the smooth running of our large and diverse organisation.

You’ll be joining an established and successful team. A strong work ethic and a great sense of humour are essential. The team is busy managing a large number of suppliers so, to be successful in this environment, you’ll need to be a motivated self-starter. Key to your success will include previous experience in a procurement team and a talent for building great relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.

This is a great role to progress your procurement career. Your contribution to the objectives of the Procurement team, and to the implementation of the Department’s Procurement Strategy, will be valued.
The salary range for this role is $52,027 to $73,450. Appointment will be based on skills and experience relevant to the role.
