There is an opportunity for you to join the Service group. The purpose of the Service Group is to ensure that New Zealand Police provide the public with efficient and effective ways of interacting with police and the resolution of their queries and questions.

 

NZ Police are expanding their National Property Team in order to provide an enhanced level of property related services, to the wider Police community.

 

As part of this Police are seeking experienced and dynamic Regional Property Managers, who will ensure the effective management, coordination and performance of Police Property assets, through taking a whole of life approach and ensuring that our assets are managed in a sustainable, cost-effective manner.

 

These key roles are part of an expanding Police National Property Team and will be responsible for the day to day management and relationship with the Police Districts of the Police properties within their allocated region. This role will be an important “go to” person for all property related queries and requirements.

 

The Regional Property Manager is an exciting role within the Police Infrastructure team and will require the successful applicant to provide high quality professional property advice, guidance and support across the Police property portfolio, within their allocated regions.

 

The role requires a multi skilled property approach including:

  • Health and Safety to all property related issues
  • Representing the Police National Property Group with Police Districts and Business units,
  • Developing, planning, scoping and managing small to medium property projects
  • Assisting with property leases and disposals
  • Assisting with property maintenance and associated service providers
  • Ensuring property compliance and that decision making is cost effective, sustainable and demonstrates benefits to Police.

 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • A relevant qualification or experience in property and or project management would be advantageous
  • Excellent Communication skills, ability to manage multiple work streams and a proactive positive attitude
