Based in central Wellington, this organisation is responsible for managing a unique and interesting portfolio. They have an established and high-performing strategic communications and digital services team that works right across the organisation. As a Senior Digital Communications Advisor, you will work as part of this team to manage their online presence.
Reporting to a Digital Team Leader, you will work alongside a wider strategic communications team to manage the organisation’s digital channels including external websites, intranet and social media presence.
Content management, including producing, editing and publishing written, video and visual content across a range of digital channels
Content strategy input, coordinating with wider team and key external stakeholders to deliver public information that is fit for platform
Social media content production and community management
Analytics and reporting
Supporting the team with internal and external stakeholder communications as required.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to quality assure your own work and peer review when required
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to tailor your communication style for different audiences and channels
Previous experience with Google Analytics and other digital reporting tools
An understanding of Government web standards
Previous experience using content management systems and a basic understanding of HTML are required
Experience with InDesign and the Adobe Creative Suite
Basic photography and video editing skills would be advantageous.
