Your focus on impactful campaigns and optimized digital performance marketing will drive numbers while building Tower's brand and future demand.You can expect to be across the following:You will be the go-to expert in direct to consumer above the line and digital performance marketing at Tower and champion of the Tower brand.Working with the Head of Brand and Acquisition Marketing and Chief Revenue, Brand and Marketing Officer you will develop a winning brand strategy for Tower and marketing strategy to drive growth of Tower's NZ Direct to consumer business.You will create the annual and 90-day plans including leading the strategic campaign development and delivery of Tower's NZ Direct above-the-line and digital retail marketing and brand activityYou will drive growth in Tower's chosen segments, with strong focus on continuous monitoring and optimisation of activity, pivoting where required. You will be able to continually optimise media, message, budget, and performance to achieve business outcomes.Relentless focus on outcomes, creative effectiveness and digital media performance and optimisation. You'll be obsessed with the numbers and KPIs; leads, quotes, CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, customer numbers and revenue and channel conversion. And with a comprehensive understanding of the retail marketing and media landscape, you will determine which levers to pull to drive performance.Lead a team of direct reports to deliver revenue, brand and customer outcomes, coaching and supporting to create a high performing team and culture.Take accountability for overall execution of NZ Direct above the line and brand campaigns at Tower, including internal campaign planning and delivery across functions, integration with delivery squads, overseeing working groups, finalising campaign and activity approvals and offer fulfilment to ensure campaigns are implemented smoothly and meet customer, business and risk expectations.Take an insights led and data-driven approach to marketing activity, bringing an understanding of the customer and our sales funnel metrics to drive performance.Work with our Agency partners to manage and oversee delivery of 'go to market' campaigns that deliver to business objectives.Work alongside Senior Marketing/Marketing Managers of Partnerships and Pacific to ensure strategic communications and brand alignment.Work with the Head of Brand & Acquisition Marketing to champion brand - support the development and execution of our external and internal brand strategy, campaigns and teams including being accountable for brand consistency, guideline decisions and maintenance of brand assets.Assist the Head of Brand & Acquisition Marketing to manage and reconcile the Tower Direct Marketing budget, expense reconciliation and contribute to annual forecasting and phasing of sales funnel targets.Work in partnership with teams across Tower including Legal, Risk and Compliance, Purchase Squad, Website, Contact Centre, Marketing Automation, Technology, Data, Product and Underwriting, Corporate Communications to deliver sales and customer outcomes, coordinating planning cycles to deliver integrated initiatives.Accountable for reporting on key activities, campaign performance, brand metric performance, Tower NZ Direct performance results, and insights, plus upcoming priorities.Lead any formal external research required, for example advertising effectiveness and brand health.Effective Risk Management associated with the role and its areas of responsibility, including relevant campaign processes and controls, control testing, electronic archiving of all produced material and managing associated sign-offs and obligations.What you'll needAn experienced and motivated brand and retail marketer with a strong background in delivering results. You'll love a challenge and enjoy getting stuck in to deliver Forward-thinking campaigns that drive growth. You will be a team player, collaborating and communicating with cross-functional teams to deliver business and customer outcomes.To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following:8+ years' experience in a senior marketing role in a services marketing environment.A proven track record in brand and retail above-the-line marketing with a focus on delivery to drive business outcomes and growth.Experience of working a cross-functional team is a must, and Agile experience a huge advantage.Analytic and data skills, a master of measurement - highly capable with sales funnel and conversion targets, as well as working within a performance marketing context, across search and programmatic channels.Solid stakeholder management experience, specifically leading planning and execution across multiple teams.Expertise in leading marketing communications planning and brand execution.A good understanding of customer data usage (including segmentation and testing principles)Experience ensuring the performance and relationship management of creative and media agencies.Moderate working knowledge of Google Analytics and Power BI would be usefulMaking sure we are doing what's right; if you feel comfortable doing so, please let us know early in the process if there are any diversity needs, we can meet or make reasonable adjustments to enable you to shine.
