He kōrero mōu: About you
You will bring a planning qualification (or equivalent) as well as expertise in regional planning and the ability to directly influence Auckland's future growth and form by tackling regional planning issues across the spectrum, particularly coastal and freshwater regional plan provisions.
You will understand the issues and pressures facing the natural environment in T ā maki Makaurau Auckland and be committed to successfully addressing them. You will also have a solid understanding of the Resource Management Act and the Local Government Act, as well as a commitment to upholding the Treaty of Waitangi principles of partnership, participation, and protection.
You will also excel at relationship management because you will be tasked with constructively collaborating with a variety of key stakeholders, including our Council family, external stakeholders, the larger community, and Mana Whenua.
