As an Administrator Client Services for the Property and Campus Development Division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of this team and your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of administrative activities including:
• Communication – managing internal and external communications both written and verbal.
• Meeting support.
• Recruitment – requisition administration and onboarding coordination for new staff.
• Financial administration – purchase card reconciliation, reimbursements, purchasing and invoicing.
• Wider administrative cover for the Operations Division.
You will be part of a wider team of Client Services Administrators working within the Property and Campus Development Division supporting an array of teams, so the role requires a mature, reliable, and self-sufficient individual.
The Property and Campus Development Division have an active social committee and are a down-to-earth, friendly group, so would suit an individual who brings energy and a sense of humour to the role.

Along with excellent administration skills, a strong customer service focus is critical to success in this role. We are looking for candidates with:
• Proven experience as an administrator or in a customer-facing, support-based role.

• Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programmes.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

About our team/Mō te tīma
The Property and Campus Development Division are the physical foundation of the teaching, research and learning that takes place across our five campuses. From facilities management through to planning and delivery of new developments, the Property and Campus Development team work extremely hard to support our students, staff and the public through the maintenance, repair and upgrades of university buildings and grounds.
Client Services are a team of highly skilled professional staff responsible for delivering an outstanding student and staff experience to all the University’s internal and external customers.

This is a fixed term (12 months), full time (37.5 hours per week) position, based in Dunedin.
We also have Kaiwhakahaere Tari positions available. These roles are part of the Administrator Client Services function but in addition they support the implementation of the Māori Strategic Framework activities, the University’s commitment to the success of Māori students and staff and contribute to a culture of whakawhanaungatanga in our workplaces. These positions are remunerated at Level 5, with the appointment range $65,281 to $69,648.
