Join Wintec as our International Exchange and Scholarships Advisor, where you'll spearhead the expansion of our global engagement. Your role involves managing and growing our Student Exchange portfolio, securing new partnerships, and promoting exchange opportunities. Collaborating with internal stakeholders across faculties and departments, as well as external partners like government agencies and international institutions, you'll ensure seamless coordination and delivery of exchange and scholarship initiatives from end to end. By enhancing student opportunities and fostering international partnerships, you'll contribute to internationalisation across Wintec’s campuses while embodying our values of collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
The appointing salary for this role will be between $61,100 and $78,900, dependent on skills and experience.
The International Exchange and Scholarships Advisor Wintec | Te Pūkenga reporting to the International Student Services Manager, will be responsible for:
1. Managing and expanding our Student Exchange portfolio, identifying and securing new, productive exchange partners.
2. Promoting the benefits of Student Exchange opportunities, ensuring exchange opportunities are fully utilised each year, for both students and staff.
3. Developing and producing revenue generating opportunities through Student Exchange partners.
4. Designing outbound scholarship programmes, securing funding and managing the programmes.
5. Delivering a seamless experience for all student exchange, study abroad and scholarship stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and effectiveness throughout.

1. Experience in international mobility and scholarship programmes or student support roles, particularly in the context of applied and vocational education.
2. The development of international networks, institutional partnerships and relationships with government agencies and interest groups.
3. Strong written and verbal skills.
4. Exceptional self-management skills by efficiently organizing tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and consistently meeting deadlines without constant supervision.
5. Excellence in building and nurturing positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, fostering trust, loyalty, and mutual respect.
