This is a rare and exciting opportunity that will suit a self-managing professional who is comfortable juggling multiple deadlines and who can easily build rapport within and across organisations. Based within the Māori, Communities and Partnerships business group within MSD and reporting to the Director Māori, your primary focus will to support in the leading of theKaupapa Inquiries work across the whole of MSD and with other agencies involved in Kaupapa Inquiries processes ensuring MSD is well placed to respond to a wide range of issues raised through Kaupapa Inquiries.
In your work, the Lead Advisor is expected to form strong working relationships with colleagues and staff throughout the Ministry, and other agencies involved in Kaupapa Inquiries, as well as forming networks and relationships across government and externally with providers and community.
To succeed in this role, you will be comfortable working with senior leaders from across a range of agencies, and be experienced in providing timely, relevant, and pragmatic advice that draws together strategy, policy, service development and relationship management issues, that could impact MSD’s input into the Kaupapa Inquiries work programme.
