The Property Team is looking for a collaboratively minded Project Advisor to join us. The Property team provides property lifecycle management from inception, project management, delivery and planning and analytics. The MBIE property portfolio includes office accommodation, residential accommodation, MBIE owned property, and sub-leased (co-located) premises from / with other Crown agencies.

Reporting to the Workplace Transition Manager. The Project Advisor is responsible for supporting the Project Managers and Change Managers to deliver and manage Property Projects and wider business change initiatives. The role provides input into requirements, design, logistic planning, testing functions, training needs analysis and change management. The advice and support provided needs to be based on sound knowledge and experience about current processes and systems and also best practice in areas of project and change management. At times, the Projects Advisor may be asked to manage a project work stream. This will be discussed to determine whether the work stream requirements match their skills and expertise.

 

To be a successful candidate in this role:

  • You will have experience in delivering property and change projects
  • Ability to lead logistics and soft fit out for Property Projects which can involve up to 200 employees moving locations or floors
  • You have a reputation for confident and clear communication regardless of what roles and experience you bring to the table
